Casium is an immigration assessment partner integrated with Ashby. Request a Casium immigration assessment on a candidate without leaving Ashby. Connect the two products once, add the assessment to an interview stage, and when the assessment is done, Casium marks it complete on the candidate's Ashby record with a link to book a consultation with Casium.

How it works

  1. Start the assessment on a candidate in Ashby.
  2. Casium automatically emails the candidate a secure assessment form.
  3. Candidate completes the form: no Ashby or Casium login required.
  4. Casium marks the assessment complete on the candidate's Ashby activity, with a link to book a consultation with Casium to go over the assessment. Ashby notifies any reviewers you configured.

Enable the integration

Enabling is a one-time setup:

Key Direction What it does
Your Casium API key Casium → Ashby Lets Ashby start assessments in Casium. You paste it into Ashby (Step 2).
Your Ashby API key Ashby → Casium Lets Casium mark assessments complete in Ashby. It also carries read permissions for later versions of the integration (see What Casium accesses in Ashby). You paste it into Casium (Step 4).

Before you start: you'll need an active Casium account (email [email protected] if you're not yet a customer) and Ashby admin access to manage Integrations and edit interview plans.

Step 1 · Get your Casium API key

This is the key Ashby uses to reach Casium. A Casium team member issues it for your organization. Once issued, you can view and copy it any time:

  1. Open your organization's Company Profile → API Keys tab in the Casium portal.
  2. Under Generate Casium API Keys, find the Ashby row.
  3. Reveal and copy the key.

Treat this key like a password — anyone who has it can start assessments billed to your account. If no key is listed, ask your Casium contact to issue one.
